Horsey, Well known and highly respected matron of the Mariners Section, died in Deer's Head State Hospital, Salisbury Saturday following a brief illness. She was 83 years old. Mrs. Horsey was a native and lifetime resident of here, daughter of the late George and Kessie Lawson Sterling. She was a member of Mariners Methodist Church, active in W.S.C..S. work and a member of the Asbury Homemakers Club. Her husband Thomas J. Horsay died in 1941.
