Read More	She married Harry Saunders on 23 March 1898 in Eddyville, Wapello co., Iowa Info from Merllene - Mrs. Saunders Dies Mrs. Amy Saunder, 93, of Mission, Kan., a former Ottumwan and member of the Eddyville Christian Church, died in Leewood Manor Convalescent and Nursing Home in Milan, Mo., at 12:15 a.m. today. She had moved from Ottumwa about 40 year ago. The daughter of Jacob and Sarah Bales Yoder, she was born in Davis County, May 26, 1874. She was a member of Eddyville Christian Church. She married Harry Saunders in 1887 at Eddyville. He preceded her in death in 1931. Surviving are two sons, Orville J. of Mission, Kan., and Louis C. of Prairie Village, Kan.; and one granddaughter, Sandra Leigh Saunders of Prairie Village. She was also preceded in death by one son in infancy, one brother and two sisters. The body was returned to Johnson Funeral Home at Ottumwa where services were held at 1:30 p.m. Thursday with the Rev. Cecil Simonton of Davis Street Christian Church officiating. Burial was made in Highland Cemetery at Eddyville., When the Saunders family lived at Eddyville, Mr. Saunders sold the Free Sewing Machines. (Eddyville Tribune, Eddyville, IA, August 31, 1967)
