Last Thursday evening the body of Mrs. Anna Vahldick, daughter of Mrs. Kasparek, was brought here for burial from her home at Great Falls, Montana. Deceased was born Jan. 6th, 1871, and died April 3rd, 1903, aged 31 years 2 months and 27 days. She was united in marriage to Chas. Mack, an old resident of this city. Mr. Mack died a few years ago, leaving two children, a girl and a boy besides the wife. She married again, to the husband who survives her, and with the children, accompanied the body here. Four brothers, Joseph Kasparek of Oklahoma City, Okla., Frank and Ed. of Crete, Nebr. and John of this city, two sisters, Mrs. Frank Mack of Oklahoma City, Okla. and Mrs. Jos. Schramek of this city and her mother, Mrs. Kasparek, are also left to mourn her loss. Funeral services were held at St. Mary’s church, Friday morning, after which the body was laid to rest in the Catholic cemetery south of town. The PRESS extends its sympathy. Vahldick died at her home in Great Falls, Montana, April 3, 1903, at the age of 32 years, 2 months and 27 days. Deceased was a daughter of Mrs. P. Kasparek of David City, and the remains were shipped here for interment arriving here Thursday, April 9th, accompanied by her husband and two children, Ella Mach, aged 15 years, and Charles Mach, aged 12 years, Mr. Vahldick being her second husband, Mr. Mach, her first husband having died several years ago. The funeral services were held at St. Mary’s Catholic church in this city Friday, April 10 at 10 o’clock a.m. and were conducted by Rev. Father Caraher. Deceased leaves to mourn her departure, beside her husband and two children, her aged mother, Mrs. Kasparek, three sisters and four brothers, Mrs. Mollie Knidle of Yukon, Oklahoma, Mrs. Mary Nemeck and Joseph Kasparek, Oklahoma City, Oklahoma; Mrs. Joseph Shramek and John Kasparek, David City; Frank and Edward Kasparek, Crete; all of whom were present at the funeral except the two sisters and brother living in Oklahoma. The bereaved relatives have the heartfelt sympathy of their many friends in their sad bereavement.
