Description	:	The Osceola Sentinel, Osceola, IA February 05, 1925, Page 4 Anderson Burt Anderson Burt, son of Isaac and Mary Burt was born April 13, 1851 and departed this life January 31, 1925 at the age of 73 years 7 months and 18 days, after an illness of five months. Mr. Burt came to Iowa at the age of six years where he has resided most of the time until his death. In 1873 he united in marriage with Mary Kelly. To this union six children were born. Read More	The Osceola Sentinel, Osceola, IA February 05, 1925, Page 4 Anderson Burt Anderson Burt, son of Isaac and Mary Burt was born April 13, 1851 and departed this life January 31, 1925 at the age of 73 years 7 months and 18 days, after an illness of five months. Mr. Burt came to Iowa at the age of six years where he has resided most of the time until his death. In 1873 he united in marriage with Mary Kelly. To this union six children were born. The oldest child, Henry died in infancy, the wife departed this life in 1886. In 1904, Lola died and also Emma in 1923 leaving three children living, Iona Lyons, Elsie Rork and Porter Burt. In the year 1888 he was married to Mattie Clark and to this union were born four children, two died in infancy and the living are; Ida Garrison and Kenneth Burt of Boulder, Col., the wife died in 1920. Five children are left to mourn the loss of a father, There are also fifteen grandchildren, eleven great grandchildren, two brothers, Silas Burt of Hutchinson, Kansas and George Burt in Canada, other relatives and many friends to mourn his departure. The funeral services were conducted at the M. P. church by Rev. Weston. Interment in the Cox Cemetery. Transcribed as published by Karen Brewer.
