Description	:	Funeral services for Andrew Pitsch 82, were held Wednesday, May 17, 1967 at 2:00 p.m. at the Presbyterian Church in Harlem, with Rev. Wayne Larson officiating. Mr. Pitsch passed away at the Deaconess Hospital in Havre on Sunday, May 14, 1967 following an illness of approximately one month. Music at the service was provided by Charlene Brower at the organ and Mrs. Darlene Nicholson and Mrs. Ethel Siemens, who sang "Whispering Hope" and "How Great Thou Art." Andrew Pitsch was born in the province of Saratof, Russia on April 6, 1885, the son of Peter and Mary K. (Stromberger) Pitsch. He came to the United States in 1902 and to Billings in 1903 where he was employed during the construction of the Great Western Sugar Factory. He then farmed in the Yellowstone and Big Horn Valleys. He worked in the Butte mines for several years before coming to Blaine County, where he has spent the last 30 years with his sons, Alex and George, near Harlem. Mr. Pitsch was married in 1907 in Billings to Katherine Reichert, who preceded him in death in 1921. Survivors include two sons, George (Ethel) and Alex (Frances) of Harlem; two daughters, Mrs. Sam (Amelia) Kern, Hardin, Montana and Mrs. Henry D. (Helen) Steinmetz of Park City, Montana; 19 grandchildren and 33 great grandchildren.
