Findlay, 72, of 308 Burrhus street, died early this afternoon at the St. Joseph hospital where he had been a patient for the past few days. He had been afflicted with heart trouble for five years. Mr. Findlay was a life-long resident of Ottumwa, having been born here in 1873. Survivors include his wife; a daughter, Mrs. Mary Boulger, Ottumwa; and two sons, Dan R. Findlay, Ottumwa, and Lt. H.L. Interment will be in Shaul cemetery. In addition to his wife and children he is survived by two sisters, Miss Grace E. Findlay of Ottumwa and Mrs. R.H. Lane of Minneapolis, and two brothers, J.G. Findlay of Ottumwa and D.A. Findlay of New Jersey.
