Description	:	The Glenwood Opinion 15 August 1901 Andrew Scott, son of Mr. and Mrs. Samuel Scott, well known residents of Hastings died last week at a relative's home near Lincoln. The remains were brought to Hastings Friday. Interment at the Malvern cemetery. Rev. Brainerd of the Episcopal church of Glenwood, conducted the funeral services, the young man having joined the church while in Omaha several years ago. He was about 21 years of age and loved by all who knew him for his upright character. He went to New Mexico for his health and it was thought he was entirely cured.... The immediate cause of death was from disease of the throat. Those who were with him at the time of his taking off pronounced him as having been resigned beyond the lot of most young people, coming to his end with the peace which passes all understanding.
