Description	:	Andrew "Andy" Sperger, 82, of Marion, died Sunday morning, February 8, 1981, in a Valley City hospital. Funeral Mass will be at 11:00 a.m. Thursday at the St. Francis Catholic Church in Marion with Fathers John Wanzek and Ben Bachmeier co-celebrants. A prayer service will be at 7:30 p.m. Wednesday evening at the St. Francis Church. Interment will be in the St. Francis Cemetery. Andrew Sperger was born November 1, 1898 in LeRoy, Wisc., the son of Sam and Barbara Sperger. As a boy, he came to North Dakota with his family in 1906. He grew to manhood and received his education here. He lived and farmed in the Greenland Township community all his adult life. He was a member of the St. Francis Catholic Church and the Marion Wildlife Club. He is survived by one brother and five sisters; Samuel Sperger and Ann Sarbaum, of Marion; Mrs. Axel (Christine) Peterson of Bismarck; Mrs. Lucille Loy of Des Moines, Iowa; Mrs. Carl (Clara) Carlson of Moorhead, Minn.; Mrs. James (Josephine) Vanda of River Falls, Wisc.; and six nieces and nephews. Peterson-Olson Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements. Published in the Litchville Bulletin, Litchville, North Dakota, February 11, 1981.
