Description	:	Ann Sarbaum, 87, of Marion, died Friday, July 27, 1990, at Mercy Hospital in Valley City. Funeral Mass was July 31 at St. Francis Catholic Church, Marion, with Father Neal Kapaun, celebrant. Ann Sperger was born December 16, 1902, at Elmwood, WI, the daughter of Sam and Barbara Sperger. The family move to Binford in 1906 and later moved to Marion in 1913. She grew up and received her education at Marion. She married Fred Sarbaum at Marion October 17, 1923. She was a member of St. Francis Church and it women's organizations, the VFW Auxiliary, American Legion Auxiliary, Marion Senior Citizens and the Widow's Club of Marion. She is survived by two sons, Robert of Jamestown and John J. "Jack", Seattle, WA; three sisters, Christine (Mrs. Axel) Peterson, Bismarck; Lucille (Mrs. Fred) Loy, Des Moines, Iowa; and Josephine (Mrs. James) Vanda, River Falls, WI; three grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren. Pallbearers were DeLoy Sarbaum, Curtis Lillehoff, Tom Belongia, George McCarthy, Jr., James Sarbaum, Lowell McCarthy and Randy Sarbaum. Remember me with smiles and laughter.
