Services will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday at Emmanuel United Methodist Church in Granger, Ia. Burial will be at Webb Cemetery in Spring Hill, Iowa. Burial will be at Webb Cemetery in Spring Hill, Iowa. Mr. Sparks was born in Waukee, Ia., and lived in Granger before moving to Ferron in 1974. He was self-employed in the trucking business. Survivors include his wife, Jacketta, a son, Larry of Oelwein, Ia.; two sisters, Bonnie Herrold of Granger and Evelyn Cole of Kelseyville, Calif., and three grandchildren. Friends may call after 2 p.m. Monday at Brandt Funeral home in Dallas Center, Ia., where the family will meet friends from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. # # # Andrew Sparks was born November 5, 1929 and died August 30, 1990. He met his wife, Jackie (Jenson) in 1948 and they were united in marriage on January 30, 1950. In 1952, they moved to Iowa where they would live for 20 years. In 1972, they moved to Ferron, Utah, her hometown. In 1969, Andy and Jackie bought a semi-truck and they trucked until Andy’s death in 1990. He is survived by his wife Jackie and son, Larry.
