The body was then held at the church until the following day for burial, pending the arrival of the sister and her husband, Mr. and Mrs. Chris Jensen, of Duluth. Andrew Overby was born in Overby parish, Norway, October 25th, and was therefore exactly 33 years and 9 months when death overtook him. He came to the Nora and Alsen neighbor¬hood probably a dozen years ago, and for a time worked among the farmers there. About seven and one-half years ago, he and Mrs. John Hansen were united in marriage, and have occupied the home farm since. Some five years ago, he was taken ill with pneumonia, which left him in such a weakened condition that tuberculosis followed. He was resolute to the last, declaring that he would not give up, and it is related that the day previous to his death he drove the mower in the hay field all day. He retired as usual, but later complained of not feeling well, and while Mrs. Overby was endeavoring to call the doctor, he was heard to fall, and he soon passed away. The bereaved wife has the sympathy in the hour or death. The following resolutions were adopted by the Modern Woodmen and Royal Neighbors lodges: Woodmen Resolution Whereas God in his infinite wisdom has called from among us our esteemed neighbor Andrew M. Overby, be it resolved that in his death Alsen camp M.W.A., has lost a faithful member and a devoted brother, and be it also re-solved that we extend to the bereaved wife of Bro. Overby our sincere sympathy in this the hour of her bereavement.
