Description	:	Rites held for Pauline Overby Pauline Suffena Behnke Overby, daughter of Julius and Kunigunda Schmidt Behnke, was born on March 31, 1876, in Emmet Twp., Union County, one of ten children, and was baptized in infancy in the Lutheran faith. She grew up in Emmet community, taught school for three years after which she was united in marriage to John Hansen on November 8, 1894. To this union five children were born: Harold Hansen, Leonard Hansen, Clarence Hansen, Martha Martinsen, Myrtle Johnson. Read More	Rites held for Pauline Overby Pauline Suffena Behnke Overby, daughter of Julius and Kunigunda Schmidt Behnke, was born on March 31, 1876, in Emmet Twp., Union County, one of ten children, and was baptized in infancy in the Lutheran faith. She grew up in Emmet community, taught school for three years after which she was united in marriage to John Hansen on November 8, 1894. On October 4, 1908, her husband, John Hansen was killed in a railroad accident. On December 20, 1909, she was united in marriage to Andrew Overby who passed away on July 25, 1917. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, one son, Clarence, three grandsons and one sister. She has made her home with her children for many years and passed away at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Milton Johnson, on May 6 at the age of 77 years. She was laid to rest in the Rockfield cemetery under the direction of the Nilson funeral home of Alcester. She leaves to mourn her passing four children, 14 grandchildren, 16 great grandchildren, 8 brothers and sisters, besides a host of other relatives and friends.
