Read More	We copy the following from The Boston Journal of May 5. Mr. Andrew Whitcomb, an old and highly esteemed citizen of Littleton, Mass., died very suddenly at the residence of his son, J. Hartwell Whitcomb, in that town, Tuesday afternoon. He had been in his usual health all day, riding to Acton in the forenoon, and manifesting no signs of approaching dissolution. Between 4 and 5 o'clock he was sitting in the house talking with Miss Whitcomb, one of his granddaughters, when all once the young lady perceived a singular twitching of the muscles of his face, and in an instant he was dead. Heart disease was the cause of the sad event, and his death must have been painless. Mr. Whitcomb was born in Littleton in March, 1804, coming from one of the oldest families in that region. He was a prosperous farmer during the active part of his life, and though he retired from farm management some years age, took a great interset in the work going on about him down to the time of his decease. Widely known in the region where he lived, he was as widely respected, and by his hearty and frank manners in social life he made many friends. He was greatly interested in the Second Advent theology, and during many years was a constant attendant upon the religious services of that denomination, frequently riding a number of miles on Sunday in order to attend a meeting. On Sunday last he went to Pepperell in order to take part in the services of the day. Mr. Whitcomb's wife, Caroline (Hartwell) Whitcomb, died a few months ago. He leaves three sons namely: Mr. J.
