Description	:	She was the eldest daughter of George W. and Stella J. (Morris) Loomis. She grew up in Shenandoah, Iowa, and graduated from Shenandoah High School in 1947. On November 26, 1947, she married Leffert Lefty Corder in Shenandoah, Iowa. During their marriage, they lived and worked in Iowa, Indiana, Illinois, Missouri and Nebraska. They first moved to Columbus in 1960 and always consider it "home". Anita is fondly remembered as "that greeter" at Wal-mart where she worked for over 18 years and retired in 2009 at the age of 80. During their marriage, they lived and worked in Iowa, Indiana, Illinois, Missouri and Nebraska. They first moved to Columbus in 1960 and always consider it "home". Anita is fondly remembered as "that greeter" at Wal-mart where she worked for over 18 years and retired in 2009 at the age of 80. She is also known for managing the lunch counter at Woolworth for many years. She loved the hustle and bustle of the teenagers who made it their hangout in the 60s. Survivors include her children: Kathleen (Randy) Bretschneider of Pierce, Karen (Walt) Siemek of Columbus, and Alan Corder of Columbus; her grandchildren: Christopher (Keri) Robbins, Craig (Jessie) Corder, Shellea Corder, Rebecca Bretschneider Halsey, and Quintin Siemek, and step-grandchildren Matthew (Laci) Siemek, Andrew Siemek, Adam Siemek, Sarah Siemek and Patrick Siemek. Her great grandchildren include: Darby, Graven and Madelyn Corder, Harrison and Chayton Robbins, Jade Halsey, and Emma and Abbi Siemek. She is also survived by her sisters: Norma Snodgrass of Omaha and Georgia Welch of Roca and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Leffert in 1979, her grandson Benjamin Robbins in 2006, and her sister Wanda Crisp.
