Description	:	Ann E. Humble, 94, of Fort Benton, passed away December 9, 2016 at Peace Hospice. A Graveside Service is planned on Friday, December 30, 2016 at 1:00 PM at the Dupuyer Cemetery. Ann E. Humble was born to Joseph and Elizabeth Parocai on May 8, 1922 in Dupuyer, Montana. She was raised on the family ranch, moving to Great Falls during WWII to work. Read More	Ann E. Humble, 94, of Fort Benton, passed away December 9, 2016 at Peace Hospice. A Graveside Service is planned on Friday, December 30, 2016 at 1:00 PM at the Dupuyer Cemetery. Ann E. Humble was born to Joseph and Elizabeth Parocai on May 8, 1922 in Dupuyer, Montana. She was raised on the family ranch, moving to Great Falls during WWII to work. She married Shelby Fletcher, and moved to Alabama for a brief time, but was homesick for Montana, and moved back. Ann then married Robert Humble, and moved to Carter, Montana where she lived until she moved to Fort Benton, Montana to work as a bookkeeper for Scotts Lumber. She went to work at the Treasurer's Office at the Choteau County Courthouse, where she remained for 36 years. Ann was awarded the Spirit of Montana Award for her work ethic, adapting to all the technology changes she mastered over her many years. One of her greatest memories was catching a 53.5-pound King Salmon in the Kenai River in Alaska. Her prize catch hung in the Treasurer's Office from 1988 until her retirement. She donated her fish back to the Treasurer's Office, where it hangs today. She loved sharing her secret to being a good fisherwoman, "just spit on your hook". You could usually find her in her beloved yard, shoveling the driveway or handing out her famous popcorn balls at Halloween. Ann is survived by her children, Robert Fletcher Humble, Mary Lou (Steve) Kuffner, and William (Chris) Humble. Grandchildren, Cindy (Roger) Gibson, Travis (Sherry) Humble, Dean (Alayna) Johnson, Kasey Davis, all of Alaska, Shawn Blackman, of Browning, Scott (Tammy) Humble of Missoula and Beth Davis, of Helena. Great-grandchildren, Alexis, Gabi, Jaiden, Brock, Triston, Delaney, Jada, Maki (Boomer) Blackman, and Noah, and Brittany, Amanda, Courtney and Kristen. Great-great-grandchildren, Xander, Jaxson, Emmett, Julian, McKinley and Mallory. She was blessed with many close friends. She was preceded in death by her parents; beloved granddaughter, Tiffany Humble; brothers, Frank and Charlie Parocai; sisters, Margaret Hansen and Irene Parocai. - Croxford Funeral Home
