Description	:	Elbert Charles Parocai, of Dupuyer, passed away on July 9, 2016 at the ripe old age of 95. He lived a full life on this earth and will be greatly missed by all who knew him. A Funeral Service will be held on Saturday, July 16, at 11:00 AM, with a Public Visitation one hour prior at 10:00 AM, at the Holy Cross Catholic Church in Dupuyer, with a Graveside Service to follow at Dupuyer Cemetery. Read More	Elbert Charles Parocai, of Dupuyer, passed away on July 9, 2016 at the ripe old age of 95. He lived a full life on this earth and will be greatly missed by all who knew him. Born in a three-bedroom house east of Dupuyer, Montana, Charlie, as he came to be known, was the fourth of five children born to Joseph and Elizabeth Parocai. Charlie’s parents were homesteading immigrants who came to American from Hungary. He was raised on the family ranch and the skills he learned throughout his childhood enabled him to be the jack-of-all-trades he was known as. Along with being a farmer/rancher, Charlie was an all-around handy man, with a knack for carpentry and the ability to fix electrical work and machinery alike. He worked on all his own equipment and later in life even built his own home. Charlie took pride in being a WWII veteran. Although he didn’t speak much about his time overseas in Europe, he served honorably as a medic in the United States Army during the Battle of the Bulge. He returned home on his birthday in 1945 to hugs and love from his family and friends. Charlie didn’t make a habit of cussing; he had a solid work ethic and strong morals; he was a kind hearted man. He treasured his time with family and enjoyed his time with friends. He attended the 4th of July Rodeo in Choteau every year and went to Cheyenne Days in Wyoming whenever he could. He loved fishing and hunting. Charlie was so skilled with a rifle he could hit his targets using either hand to shoot with. His best hunting spots were scattered all around Dupuyer, where he would hunt elk, deer, and mountain goats for both sport and food. Survivors include his wife of 55 years, Edna Parocai; three sons, two grandchildren, nieces and nephews [names omitted].
