Ann Elizabeth Breitbarth, the daughter of Marinus and Chrissie (Sundahl) Jorgensen, was born February 4, 1923 at Carroll, NE. She was a member at the Methodist Church at Carroll and was a later baptized into the Christian faith on June 20, 1943 and also confirmed in that faith on August 23, 1944 at St. John's Lutheran Church-rural Pender. Read More	Ann Elizabeth Wallace February 04, 1923 - September 25, 2008 Mrs. Breitbarth passed away on Thursday, September 25th at her residence. Ann Elizabeth Breitbarth, the daughter of Marinus and Chrissie (Sundahl) Jorgensen, was born February 4, 1923 at Carroll, NE. She was a member at the Methodist Church at Carroll and was a later baptized into the Christian faith on June 20, 1943 and also confirmed in that faith on August 23, 1944 at St. John's Lutheran Church-rural Pender. She was united in marriage to Wallace Breitbarth at Redeemer Lutheran Church in Lincoln, NE on May 31, 1944 by Rev. Melvin Tassler. The couple farmed west of Bancroft, NE until moving to West Point in 1992. Mrs. Breitbarth has been an active member of St. John's Church, teaching Sunday School, helping with the church records and belonging to the Ladies Aid, LWML and LLL. She was also employed at Pender Community Hospital from 1972-1992 in the Dietary Department and was active in the Hospice program and volunteering at nursing homes. Ann enjoyed music, playing the organ, playing cards, flowering gardening and baking everyone's favorite dessert when they were around. Survivors include- Children and spouses- Connee and Gary Reimers of West Point, NE Roger and Jean Breitbarth of Lincoln, NE Joy and Doug McArthur of Sarasota, FL Dallas and Jacque Breitbarth of Bancroft, NE Joan and Tom Quinn of Hastings, NE Grandchildren and their families- Brian and Lou Reimers of West Point, NE and children Christopher, Garret & Jacob Barry and Pam Reimers of Valdosta, GA and son Andrew Kara Breitbarth of Omaha, NE Jason and Karen Breitbarth of Lincoln, NE and daughter Katelyn Leah Breitbarth of Denver, CO Adam Breitbarth of Lincoln, NE Matthew and Tasha Breitbarth of Bancroft, NE and children Nathan & Jaxen Amy Hansen of Sioux Falls, SD Kelsey Quinn of Omaha, NE Tyson Quinn of Hastings, NE Sister- Esther Hansen of Battle Creek, NE Ann was preceded in death by her parents, five brothers, three sisters and two step grandsons-Chris and Sean McArthur.
