Description	:	Ann married James D. Middleton on December 25, 1852, at Greenwich Village, Manhattan, New York. Obituary Mrs. Ann Middleton died at the home of her son-in-law, Theophilus Ferris, three miles southeast of Lancaster, November 5, 1897. The deceased was born in Ireland April 18, 1825, her parents died when she was only two years old. She, with her brother, came to New York where she lived until 27 years old when she was married to James Middleton and moved to Hancock county, Illinois where they lived for a number of years then moving to Schuyler county where she remained until her death.... Obituary Mrs. Ann Middleton died at the home of her son-in-law, Theophilus Ferris, three miles southeast of Lancaster, November 5, 1897. The deceased was born in Ireland April 18, 1825, her parents died when she was only two years old. She, with her brother, came to New York where she lived until 27 years old when she was married to James Middleton and moved to Hancock county, Illinois where they lived for a number of years then moving to Schuyler county where she remained until her death. She was a mother of five children all of them survive her and were present at her death. The funeral services were conducted by Rev. Cave of this city and her remains were laid to rest in the Odd Fellow's cemetery on Sunday, November 7, 1897. She was a devoted member of the Catholic church. Farewell, sweet mother, a long farewell. Your sorrows and sufferings are o'er. May each of us live to meet you at last. On that beautiful heavenly shore. Card of Thanks.
