He preceded her in death.With husband, farmed in the Amherst area all their lives, including a dairy that they operated with their sons; also worked for Amherst schools for many years; was active in the H.O.P. Club since the early 1940s; was active with the senior citizens.Activities: active member of Amherst United Methodist Church, helped with Sunday school, vacation Bible study and Christmas programs; was the organist for many years, missing only two Sundays in the last year; helped with quilting; enjoyed played cards with family and friends; enjoyed reading, bowling, crossword puzzles and especially her grandchildren.Survivors include her sons, Jerry of Amherst and Harvey of Kearney; daughter, Charlotte Reicks of Grand Junction, Colo.; nine grandchildren; and 11 great-grandchildren; also daughters-in-law, Donna Fisher of Aurora, Jerrylynn Fisher of Amherst and Barbara Fisher of Kearney.Was preceded in death by her husband; son, Henry Dean; three brothers; and three sisters.
