Louise was born in Tipton, Kan., to Edward and Margaret (Young) Geisler on Dec. 28, 1929. Louise grew up in a family of 15 children, which impacted her gracious and giving nature. She married Elwyn Pridey (deceased) on July 18,1948, and is survived by their Five children, Ann Marie (Larry) Boyce, of Tulsa, Kathryn Pridey (Ed Lewek), of Fairport, N.Y., Roger (Joanne) Pridey, of Salina, Kan., Ronald Pridey (Melody Julian), of Ness City, Kan., and Erie Pridey, of Delphos, Ran. Her grandchildren include Caleb and Casey Pridey, Megan and Kara Pridey, Kendle and Amanda Boyce (Fernando Rodriguez), Chloe Lewek and Olivia Pridey-Patton, and a great-granddaughter, Viviana Rodriguez. Louise loved the country life and nurtured her sheep, chickens, etc., with the same loving patience she displayed with friends and family. She was a talented seamstress and a wonderful cook. She was an avid gardener, and her produce and flowers often brought her community recognition. She was employed as a nurse's aide and CMA for 35 years at Delphos Nursing Home and enriched the lives of many residents throughout those years. She also was a docent at the Delphos Museum, served as a 4-H leader, assisted with Methodist youth groups and taught Bible and Sunday school. She loved her church and her God, and she was a longtime member of UMW (United Methodist Women) at Delphos United Methodist Church. Louise was very accepting of everyone and welcomed all individuals into her home and into her life. Her kind nature and gentle spirit served as inspiration to her family, church and community. A service honoring Louise will take place at 11 a.m. March 22, at Delphos United Methodist Church. Memorials may be made to Delphos Senior Center or Delphos United Methodist Church. --submitted by Ann Pridey
