Description	:	Anna Allen was born near Mooresville, Indiana, December 24, 1837, and departed this life on June 23, 1924, at the home of her daughter Mrs. John W. Smith, four miles northeast of Oskaloosa. She came to Iowa with her parents at the age of thirteen years and settled at Indianapolis, Iowa, later moving to Blue Point. There she grew to womanhood and was married to John Howell Perfect on March 19, 1862. They moved to Kansas in 1884, remaining there until 1913, when they returned to Iowa. She came to Iowa with her parents at the age of thirteen years and settled at Indianapolis, Iowa, later moving to Blue Point. She leaves to mourn, her aged husband, five sons and two daughters; Jefferson C. and William F. of Oklahoma; Charles W. of Eastonville, Colorado; Lewis E. of Wilsonville, Nebraska; Almer A. of St. Joseph, Missouri; Mrs. John W. Smith and Mrs. Arthur M. Green of Oskaloosa, Iowa. Mattie, Belle, and Mrs. Elzy C. Railsback preceded her in death. Twenty-one grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren also survive. Early in life she joined the Methodist Church and lived a faithful member until death. Her home was at Olivet, Iowa, for the past ten years. She was laid to rest in the Old Cemetery north of Oskaloosa.
