| Description | : | Anne Anderson was part of the "Home Child" program which saw children sent from the UK to Canada to work on the farms. Most of them were destitute or orphaned children. All we know is that she was born in Scotland c.1867. She appears living with John & Margaret Walker in the 1881 Canadian Census in Fitzroy, Carleton, Ontario, Canada. She was adopted by them and moved with the family to Nebraska in 1884. She is buried in Riverside in the Walker family plot. |
