Peter and Paul's church, of which she was a member. The Rev. Father Lambert Schenkelberg will read the requiem mass. Burial will be in the parish cemetery. The body is resting at the Sharp Funeral home and may be viewed there by friends after 3 o'clock this afternoon. The rosary, led by the Rev. Father Schenkelberg, will be prayed at the funeral home at 8 o'clock Tuesday evening. Mrs. Lappe, a daughter of William and Elizabeth Pietig, both deceased, was born Anna Augusta Pietig Feb. 27, 1894, in Carroll county. Her marriage to Mr. Lappe took place Oct. 29, 1912, at SS Peter and Paul's church, with the Rev. Father Joseph Kuemper officiating. Mr. and Mrs. Lappe farmed in Carroll county the larger part of the time from their marriage until eight years ago, when they moved into Carroll. They have lived in their present home on East Eleventh street about three and one half months. Mrs. Lappe is survived by her husband, one daughter, Mrs. Roger Schleisman (Viola), of Carroll, and three sons, Elmer, Carroll; Pfc. Alvin Lappe, who is with the United States army of occupation in Korea; and Carl, at home. Another daughter died in infancy. She also leaves four sisters: Mrs. Henry Brincks (Mary), Dedham; Mrs. Henry Dultmeier (Lizzie), Templeton; Mrs. Ed Zitzlsperger(Theresa) and Mrs. John Smith (Veronica), Carroll, and two brothers: Fred Pietig, Carroll, and William Pietig, Lidderdale. Two brothers, Joseph and John Pietig, and one sister, Katherine, are deceased.
