Description	:	Mrs. Wm. Gilland died at the home of her son,Harry,on Thursday,July 13,1911 at the age of seventy five years after an illness of short duration. The funeral services were held at the home Saturday afternoon, Richard Jackson,of Lincoln County officiating.The remains were quietly laid away in the Lone Tree Cemetery, a burial ground near their home.A devoted wife and mother called from this world to meet the loved ones gone on before and to dwell forever with the redeemed.OBITUARYMrs. Gilland lived to a good old age,and her faith to God has never weakend, and on the 13th day of July... DeWolf was born in Erie county,Pa.June 29,1836 of English parents.In 1844 she moved with her parents to Boon county,Ill. where she grew to womanhood.At the age of sixteen she was converted to God and became a member of the M.E. church at Shattuck Grove school house.On May 25,1859 she was united in marriage to William Gilliland and to this union were born twelve children,six boys and six girls; six of whom have preceeded her to the other world.She with her husband and family moved to Adair county Iowa where they resided for a period of ten years.In 1889 they came to Frontier county,Nebraska,where she has lived until her death.She united,soon after coming to Frontier county,with the Church of God faith,and has lived a consistent Christian life, and at the good old age of 75 years and 14 days passed into the other world.She leaves to mourn her loss, a husband,one sister and one brother,two daughters,four sons, seventeen grandchildren and seven great grandchildren.Those of her children who survive her are,Robert,John and Harry Gilliand of Frontier county; W.H.Gilliand of Saline county,Neb.Mrs J.A. Herrick of Adair county Iowa and Mrs. J.S. Deens of Omaha.The bereaved ones have the sympathy of their neighbors in the death of a beloved wife and mother. - mickey shaffer am
