Description	:	Anna Clara Hetrick, the eldest daughter of Samuel and Elizabeth Hetrick, was born near Uniontown, Huntington county, Pennsylvania, May 13, 1871. When she was eight years old, she came with her parents to their new home at Raymond, Nebr. Here she spent her early girlhood. She united in marriage September 6, 1891, with Stephen Curtis Stephenson at Lincoln. To this union were born Elizabeth Esther, now Mrs. Elizabeth Jacobs of Denver, Colo. Read More	Anna Clara Hetrick, the eldest daughter of Samuel and Elizabeth Hetrick, was born near Uniontown, Huntington county, Pennsylvania, May 13, 1871. When she was eight years old, she came with her parents to their new home at Raymond, Nebr. Here she spent her early girlhood. She united in marriage September 6, 1891, with Stephen Curtis Stephenson at Lincoln. To this union were born Elizabeth Esther, now Mrs. Elizabeth Jacobs of Denver, Colo. Zadock Samuel of Cortez, Colo., and Ruth, now Mrs. R.B. Joy of Fairmont. Besides these three children, there are three grandchildren, Mrs. Ruth Bernardt, Luella Stephenson and Carol Ester Jacobs; two great-grandchildren, Albert and William Bernhardt; an only sister, Ella H. Collman of Anaheim, Calif., who mourn her passing. Mrs. Stephenson united with the Methodist church at an early age, transferring her membership from Emmett, Kansas, to Grace Methodist church in Fairmont in 1914, where she has since been a loyal member. She was a member of the Order of the Eastern Star for over forty years and a member of the Fairmont Sunset Club, of which she dearly enjoyed. Almost five years ago, illness became her lot and she had been a semi-invalid ever since, calling her to her reward on January 30, 1949, at Roselawn Home in Geneva. She had attained the age of 77 years, 8 months and 27 days. Despite her illness, she enjoyed her many friends and rejoice in their visits. Funeral services were held last Thursday, February 3, at the Methodist church, Rev. L.A. Fishel, the pastor, officiating. Music was furnished by Mrs. W.R. Dorrance, Mrs. Helen Little and Oliver Moul, with Mrs. Gertrude Ashby as accompanist. Interment was in the Fairmont cemetery.
