Her childhood was spent in Golden Prairie, where she attended school and church. She was graduated from the Hopkinton high school. Her childhood was spent in Golden Prairie, where she attended school and church. She was graduated from the Hopkinton high school. In 1895, her parents moved to LaDelle, SD, where they made their home for many years. During this time, Anna attended Macalester College in St. Paul, MN, and later taught in rural schools near LaDelle, in the elementary schools in Scotland, SD, and Morris, MN. Called home by her parents' ill health, she gave up teaching to care for them and for the niece and nephew who lived with their grandparents. In the fall of 1907, the family moved to St. Paul, where Anna cared for her father through a long illness. After his death, Anna, and her mother moved to Excelsior near Minneapolis, where her Mother died in 1928. After her mother's death, Anna continued to live at Excelsior until 1948, when she went to Minneapolis to live with her sister. She remained there until her death on June 24. She is survived by her sister, Mrs. K. C. Mossman of Minneapolis, and by one brother, John E. Chrystal of Huron, SD.
