Mrs. Hoffman had just returned from Columbiana where she visited some time with her daughter, Mrs. L. E. Harmon. Mr Hoffman returned to his home from the village some twenty minutes folowing the arrival of his wife and ws shocked in finding her dead. A physician was called but life was extinct and death was pronounced due to heart failure. With the husband four children survive, Mrs. L. E. Harmon, Mrs. Francis Harter, Harry Hoffman, Columbiana and O. E. Hoffman of Pleasant Grove.
