Read More	Married and divorced 1930-1940; unknown husband ---------------------------------------- Funeral services were held Thursday morning October 21 at 9 o'clock in the St. Francis church in Ashton for Miss Anna Grabowski, youngest daughter of Mrs. Elizabeth Grabowski. Miss Grabowski, who had been failing in health for the past two years, died at her home in Ashton Monday, October 18 at the age of 40 years and 3 days. She was born to Mr. and Mrs. Michael Grabowski Oct. 15, 1903 on a farm south of Ashton. Her parents moved to town when she was several months of age and she has resided here with her aged mother until her death. She was employed in the Ashton Drug Store for many years and later at Badura's Store until the time she was too sick. She was a loyal member of the Immaculate Conception Sodality and for many years, acted as its president. The members of this sodality escorted the body to the church and also to the cemetery. She was also a member of St. Rita's Study Club and St. Theresa's chair. The pallbearers were: Phillip Piechota, Ershiel Maschka, Robert Maschka, Johnny Stobbe, Eldon Stobbe and Jerry Badura. She is survived by her mother, Mrs. Elizabeth Grabowski, one brother, Clemence Grabowski of Ashton, four sisters, Mrs. Clara Knutzen of Ashton, Mrs. Jack Hruby of Omaha, Mrs. Jack Polski of Ojai, California and Mrs. Frank Badura of Ashton. She was preceded in death by her father, three brothers, Joseph, Erick and Anton Grabowski and one sister, Agnes Grabowski.
