Sypal, passed into the great beyond on Monday morning, March 29th. Her illness was of short duration, death resulting from heart failure. Deceased was born in Saunders county, near Plasi, September 2, 1876, where she spent childhood with her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Vaclav Hromas, until the time of her marriage to Jas. A. Sypal of Brainard, on February 5, 1894, since which time she has resided until the time of her death, last Monday, aged 43 years, six months and twenty-seven days. To this union were born six children, Joseph, Helen, Emma, Norma, Evelyn and one infant daughter three weeks old, all of whom survive. Besides her husband and children she is survived by her parents, who reside in Brainard, and three sisters, Mrs. Frank Petrzilka of Brainard, Mrs. Frank Hamsa of Gresham, and Mrs. Frank Soukup of near Brainard. Funeral services were held from the home at 9 o'clock and from Holy Trinity Catholic Church at 10 o'clock Wednesday morning, conducted by Msgr. A. J. Klein. The earthly remains were laid to rest in the Brainard cemetery. Mrs. Sypal was prominent in church and social circles, having been an active member of the Catholic Ladies Society and was well beloved by all who knew her. Through her untimely death the community is deprived of a most noble character, and her family of a faithful, loving and unselfish wife, mother and daughter. The Clipper joins the host of friends in extending our deepest and most sincere sympathy to the grief stricken family and feel assured that the departed is not lost, but gone before. _____________ CARD OF THANKS With sincere and heartfelt appreciation that no words can express, we extend our thanks to the many friends and relatives for the assistance and sympathy they attributed through the illness and last respects paid to our beloved wife, mother and daughter.
