Read More	The Hebron Champion (Hebron, NE), Friday, February 24, 1911; pg. 1 Stoddard Sunbeams Mr. John Adamson and Miss Anna Kehres were married at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Henry Kehres Wednesday, February 20. ======================== Annie Hulda Adamson, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Valentine Kehres, was born on August 9, 1887 at Deshler, Nebr. On February 22, 1911 she was united in marriage with John Adamson of Chester, at a farm near Deshler. Annie and John farmed east of Chester, and Annie remained there after the death of her husband, until 1962 when she moved into Chester. In September of 1974 she moved to Parkview Haven at Deshler. On Friday evening, Jan. 16th, Annie was taken to the Belleville hospital (sic) where she passed away on Saturday morning, Jan. 17, at the age of 88 years, 5 months and 8 days. She was preceded in death by her husband who died August 6, 1930; by her parents; three sisters, Clara, Mrs. William West; Flora, Mrs. Gottfried Hoffmeyer; Lydia, Mrs. Henry Mesloh; and two brothers, Henry and Frank Kehres. She is survived by six children, five daughters and one son, Viola Adamson and Edith Adamson of Colorado Springs, Colo., Jessie Adamson, Evelyn, Mrs. Lyle Brinkman and Wilma, Mrs. Quentin Orr, all of Lincoln, and Kenneth Adamson of Chester; three sisters, Mrs. Freda West of Deshler, Mrs. Geo. Saville of Lincoln and Mrs. George Slagle of Grant; two brothers, Arthur Kehres of Kennewick, Wash., and Bill Kehres of Fremont; six grandchildren and three great-grandchildren; many nieces, nephews, other relatives and a host of friends. Annie was baptized and confirmed in the Lutheran church as a youth, and joined the Chester United Methodist Church on April 13, 1952. The funeral service was held Monday afternoon, Jan. 19, at the United Methodist Church in Chester conducted by Revs. Opal and Norman Crounse. Rev. Marlon Loftis of Giltner sang accompanied by Mrs. Dolan Frye, organist. Casket bearers were Eldon Shinn, Kermit Roop, Roy West, Richard Boylston, Carl Hoffmeyer and Wm. Mumm. Interment was in the Chester Cemetery, Bachelor-Faulkner-Dart Funeral Service in charge of arrangements.
