Marcy, married Sept 15, 1892. ----------------- Obituary: Fairfield Ledger Wednesday May 19, 1948 Pg. 4 Col. 4 Mrs. Lucian Marcy Dies In California Word was received by Fairfield relatives of the death of Mrs. Lucian Marcy at Los Angeles, California, Monday, May 17. Mrs. Marcy was born and reared in this city and moved to California about twenty years ago. She has returned many times for a visit and has many friends here. When living in Fairfield, she was very active in the P.E.O., being one of the earliest members of Chapter C. She was a sister-in-law of Mrs. A. G. Jordan and Mrs. Robert F. Wilson. The body will be brought to Fairfield for burial, arriving at the Monger funeral home Friday. Graveside services will be held at 2:30 o'clock, Saturday afternoon, at Evergreen cemetery. Accompanying the body to Fairfield will be Anna Humphrey, also a former resident, who has made her home for many years with Mrs. Marcy.
