Read More	Mrs. William Ludwig passed away at her home Tuesday, March 3, 1925, aged 43 years, 10 months and 18 days. Anna Johanna Carolina Ludwig, nee Jorn, was born April 15, 1881. She was confirmed April 21, 1895, in the St. Paul Evangelical Lutheran Church. April 30, 1903, she was married to William Ludwig. She leaves to mourn her departure her husband, one son, Edwin and one daughter, and her adopted nephew, Floyd. The funeral of Mrs. Ludwig was held Thursday, March 5, a short service at the house at 1:30 and at 2 o’clock at the Lutheran Church, with Rev. Walter Seefeldt officiating. There were two or three songs by the quartet, Mrs. W. Seefeldt, Hulda and Fred Witte and William Bohlen, and one song by the male quartet, Rev. W. Seefeldt, William Bohlen, Jake Bohlen and Fred Witte. The flower girls were Edna Witte, Lucile Otte, Florence and Irene Oberlander. Each carried a wreath of flowers which they placed on the casket. The pallbearers were Sam and Mike Oberlander, George Everts, John Riel, Will Otte and Jake Bauman. There was a profusion of beautiful flowers. It was a very largely attended funeral for Mrs. Ludwig was a sweet woman, beloved by a large circle of friends. Among those who attended from away were Mr. and Mrs. Henry Smith, son, John and daughter, Mrs. Fred Schmidt and Leo Anderson, all of Indianola; Mrs. William Ludwig was their sister and aunt. Also two other sisters of the deceased, Mrs. William Bucholz of Falls City and Mrs. Anton of Barada, Neb., Mr. and Mrs. Herman Ludwig and children; Charley Ludwig and Mrs. Ed. Ludwig, all of Barada and Rev. and Mrs. W. Wietzke and baby of Shickley. The school in District No. 74 was dismissed Thursday afternoon so that the teacher and pupils could attend the funeral.
