Description	:	Mrs. Anna J. Considine, long-time resident of Halstead who had been in poor health for the past year, died June 25 of a heart attack. She was 73 years old at the time of her death. Born at Waverly on Dec. 13, 1880, Mrs. Considine had lived in Halstead for more than 50 years. She came here with her late husband from Burlington. They were married Nov. 8, 1905. Read More	Mrs. Anna J. Considine, long-time resident of Halstead who had been in poor health for the past year, died June 25 of a heart attack. She was 73 years old at the time of her death. Born at Waverly on Dec. 13, 1880, Mrs. Considine had lived in Halstead for more than 50 years. She came here with her late husband from Burlington. They were married Nov. 8, 1905. Her husband preceded her in death in 1922. Mrs. Considine was a devout member of the Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Halstead. Surviving members of her family included two sons, John Considine of Halstead; and James Considine of Columbia City, Ind.; three daughters, Sister Mary Veronica of the Order of St. Joseph, St. Louis, Mo.; Mrs. Catherine Gottschalk, Hutchinson; and Mrs. Art Hickel, Ellinwood. She is also survived by five brothers, two sisters, eight grandchildren, and five great-grandchildren. Funeral services were conducted Monday morning at the Sacred Heart Church. Clergymen officiating were Father James A. Wilson, Father David Egan, and Father Joseph B. Oenbrink. Father Wilson celebrated the Requiem High Mass. The church choir, under the direction of Mrs. Helen Titus and conducted by Frank Malambri, sang the Liturgical music, with Mrs. Virgil Janzen as the organist. Immediately following the church services in Halstead Mrs. Considine was taken to Burlington. She was buried in the family lot in the Calvary Cemetery near Burlington.
