Knorr of the vicinity of Waco and a lifelong resident of York county, died at a local hospital Wednesday afternoon at 12:10 o'clock. Born in York county, Mrs. Knorr was educated in the York county schools and spent her entire life in the vicinity of Waco. She had been in failing health for some time before her condition became serious about two weeks ago. Surviving are her husband Joseph H. Knorr; four sons, Walter of Waco, Eric, Clearance [sic] and Norman at home; five daughters, Mrs. Esther Fehlhafer of Gresham, Misses Palma, Lorna, Florence and Erna Knorr at home; her father Gearhart Weimer of Utica; four brothers, Henry Weimer of Utica, William, Gearhart Jr., and Martin Weimer of Waco; two sisters, Mrs. Emma Brackhan and and Mrs. Charlotte Zweibel, both of Waco; and one grandson. Funeral services will be held at the family home southeast of Waco, Friday afternoon at two o'clock, followed by a service at St. John's Lutheran Church. Rev. G. H. Koslowske will have charge of the service. Interment will be in St. John's Cemetery near the church.
