She attended Utica High School and graduated in 1942. On June 4, 1944, Erich and Geraldine were married at St. Paul Lutheran Church in Utica, NE. Erich was a farmer and Geraldine was a homemaker. On January 28, 2011, they passed away. Erich at the age of 88 years, 19 days and Geraldine at the age of 86 years 9 months and 27 days. They passed away a mere fifteen minutes apart to join each other in heaven. They are survived by their children David (Kay) Knorr, Humboldt, NE, Joan (Roger) Nichols, Lincoln, NE, Verna (Glen) Louch, Martell, NE and Donald (Cathy) Knorr, Bassett, NE; grandchildren Ann (Don) Hand, Bradley (Andrea) Knorr, Mike (Lauri) Nichols, Amy Nichols, Ross (Jamie) Louch, Angie Louch, Jarrod Knorr (friend, Christiana Sirek), Derek (Jennifer) Knorr, and Tamra (Kolby) Blake; great-grandchildren Julianna, Alex and Kara Hand, Nate, Jillian and Laurel Knorr, Trevor and Charity Knorr, and Owen Blake. Erich is also survived by his brother Clarence (Shirley) Knorr, York, NE and sisters Florence (John) Fehlhafer, Utica, NE and Erna Staehr, Utica, NE, sister-in-law Donna Belle Knorr Pleasant Hill, MO. He was preceded in death by his parents; brothers, Walter (Frieda) Knorr, Norman Knorr; sisters, Esther (Otto) Fehlhafer, Palma (Herman) Fehlhafer, Lorna (Wilbert) Schmieding, Martha Knorr and Vera Knorr; brother-in-law Larry Staehr. Geraldine is also survived by her brother Wilmer (Norma) Hinze, Seward, NE. She was preceded in death by her parents; sister Pauline (Paul) Dinkelman; brother Clifford Hinze.
