She had made her home with a daughter, Mrs. H. P. Braun, for many years, and for 13 years Mrs. Schoessler had been confined to her bed, the result of a leg injury received in a fall. Death was attributed to old age. Nuetzmann conducted the funeral service. Anna Katherine Boekel, was born Sept. 5, 1838, in Walter, Russia. In 1859 she was united in marriage with John Schoessler. They migrated to America in 1906 and made their home 12 miles west of Ritzville. Her husband passed away in 1912, and since that time she had been living with her children. She is survived by one son, three daughters, 45 grandchildren, 58 great grandchildren, and 10 great great gandchildren. Four children preceded her in death.
