Lipker, who passed away Tuesday, March 31, 1970, at the Haxtun Community Hospital following a lingering illness. Rev. James Pomeroy, minister of the church officiated. Interment was in Holyoke Memorial Park. Arrangements were in charge of Thompson Mortuary. One of four children of Fred and Katherine Sawyer Lehmann, Anna Katherine Lipker was born September 29, 1889, in Thayer County, Nebraska. She was united in marriage to Ernest L. Lipker at Deshler, Nebraska, on February 22, 1911. To this union three children were born. The family moved to Colorado in 1919 and settled on a farm 12 miles southwest of Holyoke, the present Clyde Sperber farm. There they made their home until moving to Holyoke in 1941. Mrs. Lipker has been a resident of the Sheridan Manor Nursing Home for the past year. She was a member of the Zion Lutheran Church. She was preceded in death by her parents and her husband who died in 1963. She is survived by a daughter, Josephine, Mrs. Adolph Ziegfeld, Holyoke, two sons, Arnold Lipker, Holyoke and Clarence Lipker, Torrington, Wyoming; two grandchildren, Barbara, Mrs. Bradford Koontz, Clinton, Iowa, Roger Lipker, Denver; three great grandchildren, other relatives and many friends.
