Ann grew up in Creighton, Nebraska, and attended Creighton Public Schools. On September 10, 1939, Ann was married to Lee George at the Dufek Farm House south of Creighton. The couple was blessed with two children, Lee, Jr, and Nan. In addition to being a loving wife and mother, Ann worked as a clerk in the family business, George's Clothes Shop, a fixture of Creighton's Main Street for many generations. She was an active member of the Grace Bible Church of Creighton, and the American Legion Auxilliary. After Lee sold the clothing store, and later discontinued his real estate business, Ann and Lee enjoyed their retirement years in Lincoln, Nebraska. Ann is survived by her husband of over 72 years, Lee George, Sr. of Lincoln, Nebraska; son, Lee (Sharon) George, Jr. of Minneapolis, Minnesota; daughter, Nan (Lowell) Myers of Seward, Nebraska; four grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; and a brother-in-law, Bud Huigens of Kansas City, Missouri. Ann was preceded in death by her parents; sisters, Sylvia Dufek, Alice Otradovsky, Georgia Huigens, and Marjorie Adams; brothers-in-law, Lawrence Otradovsky and Bob Adams; and sister-in-law and brother-in-law, Genevieve and Bob Winkley. Graveside Services were at the Greenwood Cemetery, Creighton, Nebraska.
