Rites were conducted earlier in the day at Christ the King Church at Sioux Falls, S.D., of which she was a member. The white concelebrated mass was celebrated by the Rt. Rev. Msgr. J.A. Duraczynski with the Rev. Patrick Carey as co-celebrant and the Rev. Bernard Weber as lectorer. Mrs. Huigens died at a Sioux Falls hospital on Nov. 8, following a lingering illness. Georgia Dufek, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Ed Dufek, was born Aug. 8, 1916 at Creighton and attended the public school here. She was married to Mr. Huigens Jan. 23, 1941 at St. Ludger Catholic Church. Three children were born to them. They lived in Kansas City, Mo. for 18 years before moving to Sioux Falls four years ago. Before her marriage, she was employed at the U.S. post office. Surviving are one daughter and two sons, Mrs. Anthony (Judith Anne) Kostusik of Kansas City, Mo.; William, in the Navy at Olathe, Kan. and Thomas, at home, a senior in O'Gorman High School; two grandchildren; three sisters, Mrs. Sylvia Dufek, Mrs. Lawrence (Alice) Otradovsky and Mrs. Leland (Ann) George of Creighton.
