Annie Lauria Baker was born in February 8, 1863 in Albert, Lee, Minnesota. At the age of five years she went to Cora, Idaho. On February 19, 1892 she was married to Jake J. Read More	Pioneer Mother Passes Away Mrs. J. J. Green who was brought to the home of her daughter, Mrs. Inez Dierman on January 6 passed away Monday morning, January 28. Annie Lauria Baker was born in February 8, 1863 in Albert, Lee, Minnesota. At the age of five years she went to Cora, Idaho. On February 19, 1892 she was married to Jake J. Green and to this union were born ten children, all of whom are living and were with her during her last illness. In 1902 Mr. and Mrs. Green came to Eureka, it then being known as Dewey, and settled in the Black lake district where they have since resided. She leaves to mourn her passing, a devoted husband, and their ten children. Mrs. Celof Baillorgon, Mrs. C. F. Dierman, Mrs. P. H. Dierman, Dewey Green, Mrs. Clark Ellis, Mrs. Floyd Frost, Mrs. Vinson Walsh, Mrs. Gene Gaertner, Russell Green and Mrs. Roscoe Kearneyl twenty-eight grandchildren and one great-grandchild, also a brother, Billy Baker. On Thursday morning at 10:30 the Baptist church was filled with sorrowing relatives and friends who had gathered for a last farewell to a true friend. A double quartette composed of Mrs. Voorhees, Evelyn Leonard, Mrs. P. H. Jones, Mrs. Fred Knott, Rev. Marsh, P. H. Jones, Ray Frost and Marion Frost sang two of Mrs. Green's favorite rymns, "Rock of Ages" and "When the Roll is Called Up Yonder." A solo, "I Shall Not Pass Again This Way," was beautifully rendered by Mrs. Voorhees. Rev. Swinehart, assisted by Rev. Marsh, conducted the service. The large number of beautiful floral tributes bore mute evidence of sympathy extended by their many friends to this large pioneer family. Mrs. Green's creed of Love and unselfish service to her loved ones in fittingly expressed in "Some day I'll lay me down to sleep In God's own garden on the hill, And then I'll hear you murmur, dear, 'He knows what's best, it ws God's will.' And all I ask is but a prayer, A smile, a tear and endless rest, And just a child's voice singing clear, 'God loves all thos who do their best.' The knowledge of their love expressed And her wishes fulfilled will serve to comfort her loved ones left."
