April 13, 1866 she was confirmed in the parish church. Her wedding day was the 23 of June, 1865 when she was married to her surviving husband, Mr. C.G. Anderson. The family emigrated to America in 1868, coming to Princeton, Illinois, where they resided until 1874 when they removed to Boone county, Iowa. Until the spring of 1900 they lived on their farm, five miles north of Boone. Then they moved to their late home just north west of the city. Eight children, all yet living, were born to this estimable couple. There are: John August, Hilda Louisa, Charles Abel, Harry Andrew, Frank Emanuel, Julia Christina, Alfred, and Nina Elizabeth. Of these children one daughter lives in California, one son in Wyoming, and one son in Illinois. The other children live in this vicinity. All but one is married, and Mrs. Anderson is mourned also by 31 grandchildren. Since settling in Boone county, Mr. and Mrs. Anderson have been members of the Swedish Lutheran Augustana church, in which welfare they always were greatly interested. Mrs. Anderson was a true helpmate to her husband, and very good mother. In all things she consistently tried to do her duty. She was not unmindful of the necessity of laying up a treasure in in heaven. Her husband and the other bereaved ones have the sincerest sympathy of a host of friends, who can at least to some extent realize their great loss. She died November 4, at an age of 68 years, 5 months and 22 days. The funeral occurred last Sunday at 2:00 o'clock from the home and 2:30 o'clock from the Swedish Lutheran church. The pastor, Rev. Jas A. Anderson preached in both Swedish and English. A large congregation assembled to pay their respect to their deceased friend. The burial was in East Linwood cemetery.
