Anna Mae also made tree skirts, Christmas stockings and Barbie wedding dresses for her granddaughters. Hand appliqued quilts was another of Anna Mae's talents and every summer she would donate one for the Labor Day festival at St. Peter's Catholic Church. She enjoyed playing cards at the Brookville Senior Center and called bingo at New Alsace legion. She was a member of St. Peter's Ladies Sodality, the Daughters of Isabella in Batesville, and with the Franklin County Homemakers made teddy bears for the life squad to hand out to children. Anna Mae is survived by her children ...; grandchildren ...; great grandchildren .... Anna Mae is preceded in death by her husband of 30 years, William Kocher, her parents Emma and Robert Schwab, and her brothers Francis, Victor, Paul and Herman Schwab, and sister Lucy Smith. Services for Anna Mae will be held on Thursday, February 17 at St. Peter's Catholic Church at 1207 East Rd Brookville, IN 47012. Rosary will begin at 9:00am and visitation will run from 9:15 - 11:00am. Mass of Christian Burial will begin at 11:00 with Father Vince Lampert presiding. Burial will immediately follow at St. Michael's Catholic Cemetery at 1220 John Street Brookville, IN 47012. Memorials can be made to St. Peter's Catholic Church or the Humane Society of Brookville.
