Tobiason who passed away Monday morning at the St. Luke's Hospital in Cedar Rapids. she had been ill since June 6. Born Anna Margareta Behrends in Wayne township on Jan. 23, 1887, she was a daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Gerd Behrends. Born Anna Margareta Behrends in Wayne township on Jan. 23, 1887, she was a daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Gerd Behrends. She attended the rural schools of Wayne township, and was baptized and confirmed in Wayne. She was married to T.R. Tobiason on Feb. 28, 1911 and they farmed in Wayne township until they retired to Monticello, early in 1946. They are survived by their children, Bennie of Scotch Grove, Learow of Langworthy, Dennis of Everett, Wash., and Milo of Wayne township; one brother George Behrends of Pomeroy; a sister, Emma Von Strobe of Columbus, Indiana; a half brother Bennie Behrends of Pomeroy; three half sisters, Mrs. Emmerson Burmeister of Pomeroy, Mrs. William Seehusen of Pomeroy, and Mrs. Elmer Christensen of Pocahontas. She is also survived by nine grandchildren. Pallbearers included, Paul Behrends, Lloyd Folkerts, Wilfred Schatz, John Klaussen, Donald Tobiason and Marvin Stahlbeg.
