Read More	Anna Marie Hanich, 96 years of age, of Kearney, Nebraska, (formerly of Holdrege), passed away on Tuesday, November 13, 2018 at Mount Carmel Home Keens Memorial in Kearney. Anna Marie was born December 28, 1921 in Junction City, Kansas, the second of four children born to Dee C. and Margaret (Welsh) Dalton. Anna Marie received her primary education from Scottsbluff Public School, graduating with the class of 1940. Following her education, she was employed as a telegrapher for 12 months during World War II. On November 3, 1945, she was united in marriage to Norman L. Hanich in Grand Island, Nebraska. Their union was blessed with four children: Michael, Steven, Terri Margaret and Shellee. The family made their home in Holdrege. Norman passed away in 2000. Anna Marie was an active volunteer: delivering Meals-On-Wheels for 30 years. She was a member of the All Saints Catholic Church where she served as president of the Altar Society and taught catechism for 30 years. She was an avid golfer for 50 years and during this time, served as the president of the Nebraska Women’s Amateur Golf Association (NWAGA) several times. She loved playing Bridge with her friends and husband. During their 55 years of marriage, she and Norman loved to attend Nebraska football games and travel to Vegas. Her favorite times were spending time with her children and grandchildren. Her keen sense of style and humor will be missed by many. Besides her parents and husband, Norman, she was preceded in death by; a daughter, Terri (Hanich) Harlan; a grandson, Mark Hanich; and her siblings. Anna Marie is survived by; two sons: Michael Hanich and his wife, Karen of Kearney, Nebraska, Steven Hanich and his wife, Robyn of Olathe, Kansas; a daughter, Shellee (Hanich) Kersenbrock and her husband, Mark of Omaha, Nebraska; a son-in-law, Gary Harlan and his wife, Sue of Grand Island, Nebraska; seven wonderful grandchildren: Josh Harlan of Steamboat Springs, Colorado, Kristen Hanich of Minneapolis, Minnesota, Paul Hanich of Kearney, Clay Hanich of Olathe, Katie McInerney of Omaha, Maggie Kersenbrock of Omaha, and Cole Hanich of Olathe; one great-grandchild, Zack Hanich of Lincoln; several nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
