Hanson b: DEC 1884 in Wheeler township, Sac county, Iowa Harry Hanson b: NOV 1887 in Richland township, Sac county, Iowa Anna Hanson b: DEC 1890 in Richland township, Sac county, Iowa The Odebolot Chronicle - Thursday , November 20th, 1913 - Mrs. Anna Hanson, widow of Nels on, one of the pioneer residents this vicinity, passed away at her home in this city at eleven o'clock yesterday morning. She had been in frail health for a number of years and her death was not altogether unexpected. Deceased was the mother of Albert Hanson, one of our prominent business men; and there are six other children living who are equally well known. They are as follows: Joseph, of the Imperial Valley, California; Emma, wife of T.W. Down, of Odebolt; Edward, of Odebolt; Carrie, wife of Geo. Barkley, of Sioux Falls, S.D.; Edna; Harry of Odebolt, and Annie, wife of Dr. F.E. Williams at present of Chicago. Mrs. Hanson was born in Sweden April 26, 1847. While still a resident of her native country she was united in marriage with Mr. Hanson at the age of twenty years. They came to the states in 1872 and lived for awhile in New York City. Later they lived in Oyster Bay, N.Y., and lived there for eleven years. At the expiration of that time they came to Odebolt, and the immediate vicinity and they have lived in the family home since that time. Her husband passed away in the spring of 1902. Funeral services will be held from the Methodist Episcopal church tomorrow afternoon at 2:30 and the burial will be made in the home cemetery. (the rest is too hard to read)
