In her early youth she accepted Christ and became a member of the Mennonite Church of which she was a faithful member until death. She was united in marriage to William W. Beckler, which union was blessed with four sons and three daughters, Lawrence of Seward, Orie of Exeter, Robert of Beaver Crossing, Charles of Friend, Mary (Mrs. Roland Jantzi) of Lebanon, Ore., Edna (Mrs. Wallace Stauffer) of Sarasota, Fla., and Donna Rae (Mrs. Orlen Stauffer) of Beaver Crossing. Preceding her in death were her husband, one grandchild, her parents, and four brothers. Left to mourn her departure are her seven children, 19 grandchildren and one great-grandchild; also five sisters, Mrs. Elsie Troyer of Waterford, Pa., Mrs. Lydia Graber and Miss Ida Roth, both of Iowa City, Ia., Mrs. Mary Wenger and Mrs. Clara Rensberger both of Mt. Pleasant, Ia., and many other relatives and friends. Forenoon and afternoon and night and day is gone; So short a span of time there is twixt dawn and even song. Youth, middle age, old age and life is past: Mother's prayer: Live each day That God shall say Well done at last.
