Description	:	Anna Sarah Windom Sabin, daughter of Jesse and Emily Windom was born November 10, 1872 in Ohio and passed away at her home in Villisca, Iowa on June 13, 1956. She came to Iowa in 1880 and attended the Methodist Grove School and Corning Academy. On February 16, 1898 she married Clyde O. Sabin. They had no children. Mrs. Sabin was affiliated with the Nodaway Presbyterian Aid Society and also the Woman's Relief Corps. She is survived by her husband, one sister, Letha Taylor of Omaha, Nebraska and two brothers, Alvin Windom of Lenox and Frank Windom of Wheatland, Wyoming. Eleven nephews and seven nieces also survive. Her parents preceded her in death. Also one sister, Adaline White and one brother, Lew Windom. She was loved by the many nieces, nephews, and other relatives and friends. Funeral services for Anna Sarah Sabin were held Friday, June 15, 1956 at the Presbyterian Church in Nodaway, conducted by the Rev. Alvin Sigafus. Singing at the funeral was by Cecil Weaver, accompanied by Mrs. Harold Everett. Casket bearers were Willard Taylor, Arthur Windom, Earl Means, Glen Windom, Albert Lund, and Hugo Palmquist. Flower bearers were Flora McCoy, Mattie Kernen, Maple Lacox, and Maude Carothers. Interment was in the Nodaway Cemetery. Adams County Free Press, June 21, 1956, page 8
