Anna is preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Carl; a son-in-law, Bob; two sisters; and a great-granddaughter. Anna was born on July 18, 1904, near Oxford Junction, Iowa, the daughter of Peter and Bertha Carstensen Friedrichsen. Anna attended the Madison Center country school and, after her schooling, she worked as a hired girl for area farm families. On Feb. 4, 1925, Anna married Carl Seehusen at her parents' family farm. After their marriage, they began farming, and in 1938, they moved to the family farm near Center Junction, Iowa, where they farmed their entire married lives. Carl died in January of 1984, and Anna continued living on the family farm until 1999, when she moved to the Shady Rest Care Center. Anna was a member of the Zion Lutheran Church and the Lutheran Sarah Circle, both of Wyoming, Iowa.
