Pallbearers Named. Pallbearers included John Carstensen, Jens Latare, Emil Friedrichsen, Johnny Carstensen, John M. Petersen and Herman Carstensen. Mrs. John Miller was soloist. Mrs. Lafayette Bahnsen was organist. Life Outlined. He was born March 31, 1874, in Hattstaedter, Schleswig Holstein, Germany. He was baptized and confirmed in the Lutheran church and attended the public school until he was 16 years old. He worked as a farm laborer until he was 21 years old and then served two years in the Gerde Granadier regiment, No. 4, Spandax, Germany. He came to America in 1898 and settled at Oxford Junction. In 1903 he was married to Bertha Carstensen, Wyoming. Couple farmed until 1928 when they moved to Wyoming. Mrs. Friedrichsen died in 1938. Since his wife's death Mr. Friedrichsen had I spent his winters in California and his summers with his three daughters in Iowa. Survivors Listed. Survivors include four daughters, Anna, Mrs. Carl Seehusen, Center Junction; Emma, Mrs. Cecil Fall, Olin; Hilda, Mrs. Howard Carey, Tipton, and Frieda, Mrs. Edward Cramer, North Brook, Ill. Others include eight grandchildren and nine great -grandchildren: two brothers, Henry Everly; and Ferdinand, living in Germany.
