Description	:	SPEARVILLE - Anna W. Stein, 90, died Friday, November 21, 2008 at Presbyterian Manor of the Plains, Dodge City. She was born on March 28, 1918 at Windthorst the daughter of William and Lena (Nau) Interman. She graduated from Windthorst High School. Anna married Marcellus Stein at Windthorst, he preceded her in death on May 10, 1950. She was a nurses aide at the Spearville hospital for 30 years. Stein, 90, died Friday, November 21, 2008 at Presbyterian Manor of the Plains, Dodge City. She was born on March 28, 1918 at Windthorst the daughter of William and Lena (Nau) Interman. She graduated from Windthorst High School. Anna married Marcellus Stein at Windthorst, he preceded her in death on May 10, 1950. She was a nurses aide at the Spearville hospital for 30 years. Mrs. Stein was also a cook at the Windthorst schools and was a homemaker. She was a member of St. John the Baptist Catholic Church, Daughters of Isabella. and VFW Auxillary all of Spearville. Anna is survived by three sons, Val Stein and wife Norma Jean, Dale Stein and wife Joleen, and Glenn Stein and wife Martha all of Spearville; two daughters, LaDonna Besser and husband Bill of Dodge City and Joyce Schulte and husband Albert of Spearville. She is also survived by 13 grandchildren, 18 great grandchildren, and one great great grandson. She was preceded in death by her parents and one brother. Vigil service will be held at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church on Monday, November 24, 2008 at 7:30 PM, and the Funeral Mass will be held at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church on Tuesday November 25, 2008 at 10:30 AM with Rev. Ted Stoecklein presiding. Burial will follow at Holy Cross Cemetery in Windthorst. Visitation will be at Swaim Funeral Home on Monday, November 24, 2008 from Noon to 5 PM. Memorials can be made to the Windthorst Heritage Foundation in care of the funeral home.
